High-Spec Eging spinning model from DAIWA Emeraldas, since 2012 – now renewal model has been revealed.
Magseal (Mag Sealed it’s called in Japanese)
DAIWA’s new technology Magseal is installed and it gains Emeraldas’s high water resistance.
DS4 is also used for the body and the rotor makes smooth and light feeling of reeling but still strong.
DS4 Air Rotor also makes nice balance and quick response.
ATD: Automatic Tournament Drag System
ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag) system is the DAIWA’s new drag system which makes the beginning of a strike the drag starts smoothly, so you can have line tension without line breaking at the strike.
Drag system is one of the important feature to eging properly. This smooth drag system can make your eging experience much nicer.
Air Spool
Metal-coted Air Spool, the light strong spool from DAIWA, is also one big feature of new Emeraldas ’16.
The spool size has also been enlarged from 2506 – PE: 6 / 150m to 2508 – PE: 8 / 150m.
Spec and Release Date
New Emeraldas has 4 models line-up which contains low-gear single handle / double handle, and high-gear single / double handle.
The price is in between 19,500 yen (RRP), so sold price might be around 14,000 – 15,000 yen.
Release date is not exactly announced yet but at March.
