CT Concept – the DAIWA’s Compact & Tough new concept from Steez CT SV TW’19. φ30mm spool system can be your strong weapon to finess fishing.
NOW DAIWA also announced to produce another CT concept bait casting reel, but affordable price – named ALPHAS CT SV.
New φ30mm CT SV Spool with Air Breaking System
As of the new Steez CT SV TW, this new ALPHAS CT SV also has new φ30mm diameter SV spool with air breaking system. Like we already explained at the article of Steez, it gives you longer casting distance, with lighter lures, but high anti-backlash system.
Regrettably this doesn’t have TWS system, but you can still feel nice casting feel with lighter lures.
As CT – Compact and Tough concept the body size is smaller than the previous models, and 5g lighter than previous Alphas.
As middle – low price range bait casting reel, of course this is not as good as Steez, but you can try new CT SV spool for affordable price, such can be around mid 20k yen.
Main use can be trout or bass, but also saltwater rockfish game can be as this is saltwater compatible.
Spec and Release Date
This only has one size with 2 type of gear ratio + left / right handed.
