Almost 22 EXIST!? But Affordable, AirDrive Design Reel is Out

This is really surprising, but new light reel is out from DAIWA – renewal from 21 Luvias Airity – 23 AIRITY now.

And more surprisingly, almost of all Airdrive design feature is included like 22 EXIST.

AIRDRIVE Rotor

Quick start, quick stop – totally redesigned light weight rotor. Low inertia light rotor gives you full control of reel spinning.
Made by ZAION but still tough and strong enough, no-screw visible from outside design.
As the top – front rotor is lightened by this, the weight point of the reel comes towards bottom – rod butt, which makes rod control even easier.

AIRDRIVE Bail

Air Bail has also been redesigned to AIRDRIVE Bail, which is even lighter and thinner.
Bail angle has also been reconcidered that leads line to line roller easier and smoother.

AIRDRIVE Spool

AIRDRIVE Spool is also totally redesigned. Lighter than previous model by thinner materials, but the new shape keeps durability and strength. Spool skirt part is flipped a bit to prevent getting line inside the spool.

AIRDRIVE Shaft

AIRDRIVE Shaft holds both sides of pinion gear by ball bearings and therefore main shaft won’t touch to the gear with much less fliction, which creates more reeling torque and great smoothness of spinning.
