With the EVA Seat Cushion BM, the pressure is reduced and comfort is greatly improved.
Since it isn’t a fixed, strap-on type but simply sits on top, it can be used effortlessly even on VS-series Run-Gun System Boxes.
If you want a bit more security, you can attach a carabiner to the box and connect it to the hole on the cushion for simple semi-fixation. This prevents it from blowing away in the wind, and you can still open or close your tackle box while the cushion is in place.
Its clean white color also matches any tackle box color scheme.
How It Differs from the Premium Seat Cushion BM
MEIHO also offers a blue Premium Seat Cushion BM for the Bucket Mouth series. The main differences between that model and the new EVA version are the mounting method and the design.
The Premium Seat Cushion uses straps and hook-and-loop fasteners for a firm, secure attachment. However, this system doesn’t work well with the Run-Gun System Box—it’s difficult to fit properly, and even if you manage to attach it, the sizing isn’t ideal. It was essentially limited to the Bucket Mouth lineup.
The EVA Seat Cushion BM, on the other hand, simply sits on top and can be semi-fixed using a carabiner, making it stress-free to use with the Run-Gun System Box as well.
Whereas the Premium model comes only in blue—a color some users may find polarizing—the EVA version’s white finish makes it easy to pair with a wide range of box colors.
If you have a Bucket Mouth and want a firmly secured seat, go with the Premium Seat Cushion BM.
If you use a Run-Gun System Box, prefer a white colour, or like the simplicity of a quick, semi-fixed setup, the EVA Seat Cushion BM is the better option.
