Introducing about DAIWA TG Bait
Firstly as of the name “Bait”.. This is really told as “not metal jig anymore, it’s a bait”!
DAIWA TG Bait really is a great working metal jig for variety of fish, and it one of our top sellers in our store.
I even use this as a “final weapon” on offshore jigging as well and do work really well!
Tungsten body makes the shape smaller, so it’s very easy to match-the-bait, and jerks real easy, then comes flat, and fast drop with rolling flash action.
Especially fast pitch jerking is real easy and works really well to a lot of different species.
Extra Hook Eye for “Kamigake”
New variety KAMIGAKE now has the third hook eye in middle of its body, that can even hook well against fish earters that bites in middle of fish body or to berry.
This will give you more ways of hook setting- like:
- Rear hook only – mainly for speed jerking / retrieve, works great for Bluefish / Tailor etc
- Front + rear hooks – major setup, one pitch jerk targetting for variety of fish
- Middle + rear hooks – can work great for Mackerel, hairtail etc, it’s like a “gang-hook” system in Australia that can hook up from middle of body
DAIWA official picture shows the third eye has single hook, maybe not to tangle with other hooks or lines perhaps.

DAIWA TG Bait KAMIGAKE has slightly narrower weight range at moment – has 80g / 100g / 120g with 6 color versions as below.
