One of the biggest fishing show in Japan – Fishing Festival 2021 was cancelled on Minatomirai Hall due to coronavirus, and it will not be on real place because of the same reason… But instead, Fishing Festival 2022 will be held online like 2021!
Unfortunately we cannot see products in front, but instead, you can review from anywhere in the world through website.
Review of Previous Fishing Festival 2021 Online
Previous Fishing Festival 2021 was also held online and plenty of contents were available.
They have built the special website for Fishing Festival 2021, which included single pages of each brands, that displayed new product informations.
These information pages were up for a month.
They also had Youtube channel and live stages with plenty of interesting shows, basically introduces new products, and some products were telling some useful fishing techniques from professional anglers.
Those live shows are also archived by their Youtube channel and you can watch that back again for a while.
The event was held for 3 days – from Friday to Sunday and 2 live channels were streaming shows for day time.
It is surely disappointing you cannot see and touch the product by hand, but it is also great opportunity that you can watch and know about new products even from home!
Live streaming was also really enjoyable, you can even watch from your mobile devices therefore you can stay tuned as much as you can.
Normally, when the real show was held, fishing brands were used to announce new products for Nov / Dec prior to the show, but the last year they have hid until Fishing Fest 2021 actually started, and we are assuming this year will be the same.

Fishing Festival 2022 Details
The show date is also held for 3 days – Friday, January 21th 2022 – Sunday, January 23rd 2022 and the website is on until the end of February 2022.
The contents are not yet unknown however assumingly those could be pretty similar to the previous online Fishing Festival 2021.

We are not quite sure as we have no information from them however it is possible as all Calcutta 400 size is released ages ago.
Could be Calcutta MD / Conquest MD / DC MD.
